Meet

This family, these friends, this community, these mountains, exploring, traveling, connecting, collaborating, growing, serving… I am grateful to be where I am, doing what I do. North Carolina is home. Buying, selling and rehabilitating homes has been a big part of life for over 20 years. Every new connection and opportunity for growth in this community is a gift and every year brings new opportunities to serve.

A little history:

After graduating from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, I relocated to Raleigh, NC and began working with a Fortune 500 company.  As a team of 7, we served the marketing needs of over 800 real estate agents. Our small team managed a weekly television show, the corporate web presence, and a number of daily, weekly and monthly newspaper advertisements throughout the state of North Carolina. Yes – back when I got started, newspaper advertisements were the primary source for real estate information!

A few years later I left the corporate world and joined a strong team of Realtors® in Raleigh, NC as their Marketing Manager.  Here I observed hundreds of real estate transactions and was more intimately immersed in the complexities that can take place in each transaction.  This inspired me to earn my real estate license in 2009.

How we got here:

20 years in real estate and loving it.  My husband and I knew for a long time that we wanted to establish roots in the mountains of North Carolina. In 2013 we sold our home in the Triangle area and bought a dreamy North Asheville fixer-upper by the Blue Ridge Parkway. In 2015 we sold our first Buncombe County home and planted ourselves in Hendersonville.  In 2019 everything came together and Planted Realty came to fruition. Our family has lived all over Henderson County (Hendersonville, Flat Rock and Laurel Park).  We are grateful to call Western North Carolina home, and can’t imagine a better place to raise our family.

Beyond real estate:

You’ll find me cheering on my kiddos from the sidelines of their extracurricular activities, camping and hiking along the epic local trails of the NC mountains, mountain biking with family and friends through DuPont State Forest, practicing yoga, and spending time with neighbors both old and new. Landing in Western, North Carolina feels like a gift. More than a house, this community is home.
